Case Study: Team Development
A private allied health business with practices in three geographic locations sought assistance to facilitate a smooth transition to a new organisational leadership structure – including the integration of new business partners. We facilitated a series of team development workshops aimed at facilitating a smooth transition for the new leadership team and to provide assistance to the new partners as they moved to their new roles.
Case Study: Leadership Development
A large statutory body (2500+ employees) identified a critical need to develop the leadership skills of their middle managers. Partnering with organisational leaders our consulting team developed a 12-month long experiential leadership program designed to challenge 30 participants to identify their own leadership development needs and then to work on improving their skills in these areas over the course of the program. The program methodologies included: Self directed learning with a focus on experience, reflection and improvement; Individual Leadership Objectives; In-Role Projects; Executive Coaching; a Workshop series and a strong emphasis on outcomes and accountability.
Case Study: Engaged Employees
A medium sized not-for-profit (50+ employees) was undertaking a strategic reorientation involving a subtle but fundamental shift in its strategic intent. The organisation experienced broad scale organisational change due to this shift in focus coupled with the amalgamation of geographically dispersed and diverse services. Carey partnered with this organisation over a number of years to advise and support various elements of their strategic reorientation project, working closely with the CEO and Senior Managers as they engaged with their teams to transition through changes in both strategic direction and in business process.
Case Study: 360º Feedback
A large statutory body with 5000+ staff were committed to developing the leadership capability of 160 members of its senior technical workforce. Our consulting brief was to facilitate 360 feedback for senior technical staff and to initiate leadership action planning. Partnering with organisational leaders our consulting team designed a program encompassing: 360 feedback on key leadership skills; executive coaching and debriefing of 360 feedback; development of leadership action plans with specific and behavioural objectives; and help with leadership development through experiential learning modules and on-job assignments.
